Bloody Oath. I just go bananas when i hear a track from a local band that is seriously banging. Melbourne indie rockers Dirt Farmer are going to be serving up some of the best laid back rock very soon. Their upcoming EP Gladstone Street Circus is sure to create quite a storm. They recently supported the The Fearless Vampire Killers at their launch for ‘For You & Me’ along with Tessa & The Typecast.
To get a taste of whats to come from Dirt Farmer, their single off the EP is circling around the interweb, you can check it out below. ‘Johnny Marble’ is smooth and catchy. Chorus vocals are awesome, guitar sits back and creates a sweet rocking verse hook. The inclusion of some classy brass and harmonica are also indispensable additions. Great stuff, really looking forward to the drop of their EP.
You can catch Dirt Farmer at their ‘Johnny Marble‘ single and video launch. Saturday, June 11 at 8:00pm. The Order of Melbourne – 401 Swanston Street, Melbourne.
